How to delete your account

On the web

Sign in at finfam.app, then go to Settings > Account > Delete account (finfam.app/settings/account). Confirm when prompted.

On Android

Open the FinFam app, go to Profile > Delete account, and confirm when prompted.

14-day recovery window

Account deletion is scheduled, not immediate. After you request deletion, your account is deactivated and your content is hidden from all public surfaces.

If you change your mind, sign back in within 14 days and choose Cancel deletion to fully restore your account and data. After 14 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted (on or shortly after the scheduled date). This action cannot be undone.

What is deleted

All content and personal data tied to your account are permanently removed, including:

• Your profile (name, email, username)
• Spaces and financial data
• Published calculators (views)
• Q&A posts
• Chat messages
• Uploaded files and their stored objects
• OAuth credentials and sessions
• API keys and device registrations

Anonymized internal analytics events (such as signup and login timestamps) are retained. These contain no personally identifiable information.

Manual fallback

If you are unable to delete your account through the app, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account to request deletion.
